Tuition Assistance

The Grand Rapids Youth Symphony & Classical Orchestra is happy to provide tuition assistance to families of students who find it difficult to pay the full amount. We make it a priority that financial constraints are never a barrier for any student who wishes to participate in our program.

Program Details

• Tuition assistance is generally limited to 50 percent of the total tuition.

• Tuition assistance awards apply only to unpaid tuition; there are no reimbursements for paid tuition.

• All information provided by applicants will be kept confidential.

• Misrepresentation of financial circumstances may result in an immediate withdrawal of any tuition assistance award.

Timeline

• The tuition assistance application form must be submitted by July 24, 2026, before the season starts. The tuition assistance application form can be found in the registration form.

• Parent(s) or guardian(s) will be notified of assistance awards by email.
